【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofthelooseuncompactedvoidcontentofasampleoffineaggregate.Whenmeasuredonanyaggregateofaknowngrading,voidcontentprovidesanindicationofthataggregate''sangularity,sphericity,andsurfacetexturecomparedwithotherfineaggregatestestedinthesamegrading.Whenvoidcontentismeasuredonanas-receivedfine-aggregategrading,itcanbeanindicatoroftheeffectofthefineaggregateontheworkabilityofamixtureinwhichitmaybeused.1.2Threeproceduresareincludedforthemeasurementofvoidcontent.Twousegradedfineaggregate(standardgradingoras-receivedgrading),andtheotherusesseveralindividualsizefractionsforvoidcontentdeterminations:1.2.1StandardGradedSample(TestMethodA)8212;Thistestmethodusesastandardfineaggregategradingthatisobtainedbycombiningindividualsievefractionsfromatypicalfineaggregatesieveanalysis.SeethesectiononPreparationofTestSamplesforthegrading.1.2.2IndividualSizeFractions(TestMethodB)8212;Thistestmethoduseseachofthreefineaggregatesizefractions:(a)2.36mm(No.8)to1.18mm(No.16);(b)1.18mm(No.16)to600m(No.30);and(c)600m(No.30)to300m(No.50).Forthistestmethod,eachsizeistestedseparately.1.2.3As-ReceivedGrading(TestMethodC)8212;Thistestmethodusesthatportionofthefineaggregatefinerthana4.75-mm(No.4)sieve.1.2.4SeethesectiononSignificanceandUseforguidanceonthemethodtobeused.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsshallberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
