【摘要】:Thistestmethodmeasurestheamountoftestfluidabsorbedontothesurfaceofapaperspecimenunderspecifiedtestconditions.Theconditionsrequiredinthistestmethodspecifyreagentwaterastheabsorbedtestfluid,andacalculatedtimeavailablefortestfluidabsorptionof1.6s.Thistestmethodmayalsobeusedforthemeasurementofsolutionabsorptionofliquidsotherthanwaterhavingviscositiesupto100millipascalseconds,includingbutnotlimitedtoinksandotherwaterorsolvent-basedfluids,forsurfacesotherthanpaper,andforcalculatedtimeperiodsavailableforfluidabsorptionrangingfromabout0.01toabout4.0s,oranycombinationofthesevariables,uponprioragreementofthoseinvolved.FurtherinformationregardingtheuseofthistestmethodunderconditionsotherthanthestandardonesinaccordancewithareincludedinAppendixX1.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
