【摘要】:Usethispracticetoorganizeinformationthatdescribesneworexistingbuildingsofanysize.TheconceptspresentedherecanalsobeappliedtoothercategoriesofconstructionwhereastandardcorrespondingtoUNIFORMATIIdoesnotyetexist.ThehierarchicalstructureofUNIFORMATIIenablestheusertofocusonbuildingelementsinfunctionallyconsistentgroups.Itcanbeappliedbyanadministratorinitiatingadatasystemasafacilitystandard,aswellasaconsultantreportingonbuildingconditions.4.2.1Aconsistentmethodofarrangementforsubjectmatterexpeditesthepreparationanduseofsourcedocuments,andsimplifiestheprocessofcomparinginformationfromseveralsources.Thispracticeissuitableforarrangingthecontentofindividualreports,managingphysicalfiles,aswellasautomateddataapplications.Personalcomputersoperatingcommerciallyavailablesoftwareareabletomeetthefunctionalrequirementsofthispractice.Thispracticeprovidesaconsistentandcomprehensiveoutlinesuitabletotracktheevolutionofspecificbuildingconditionsinoneormanybuildings.Itcanbeappliedtohistoricalbuildingdataaswellasnewinformation.Administrationofthispracticewillrevealcategoriesofbuildingdatathathavebeenoverlookedinpriordatagatheringeffortsthatdidnotrelyonasystemsapproach.ThecomprehensivehierarchyofSystemsandElements,readilydisplaystheamountanddepthofinformationdistributedamongthecategoriesandlevels.Thepatternofavailableinformationhighlightsvoidsamongthecategories.Itisalsopossibletoquicklyfocusonthequalityandsufficiencyofcatalogeddatatodeterminewhetheranappropriatelevelofdetailexiststoaddresstheneedsofdecision-makers.1.1Thispracticecoverstheorganizationofbuildinginformationtosupportinformeddecisionmaking.Thekindsofdataconsideredinthispracticeincludestext,numeric,andgraphicdata.Thesystemoforganizationisapplicabletoawiderangeofdatacollectionandorganizationtasksfromroutinein-depthanalysisofasinglebuilding,tosituationswheremanybuildingsmustbeevaluatedandprioritizedinashorttimeframe.1.2TheorganizationalstructureisbasedonUNIFORMATII(ASTME1557),asystemwhichgroupsbuildingelementsaccordingtothewaybuildingsareconstructedandfunction.1.3TheuseofUNIFORMATIIprovidesasetofrecognizedsummarylevelsthatarerelevantthroughouttheindustriesthatdesign,construct,andmanagebuildings.
